Somerville YMCA will be using UpBup to collect children's applications for their summer programs. Please note the following age group requirements for each program:


SACC Summer Program

  • Child must have completed kindergarten during school year 2024-2025 and will be entering first grade in September 2025.  
  • No child over the age of 13 can attend the program without a documented disability or special need.
  • If the child does not attend a Massachusetts Public School during the normal school year, documentation of a current physical and immunizations records must be submitted prior to enrollment.


Pre-K/K Summer Program

  • Child must have turned 4 years of age by the start of the program session.  
  • Child cannot be more than 7 years of age and/or have just completed Kindergarten. 
  • If the child does not attend a Massachusetts Public School during the normal school year, documentation of a current physical and immunizations records must be submitted prior to enrollment.



1. From the respective application page for your program, select Start New Application 


These applications are available in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Haitian Creole and French. You can change the language from this page using the language dropdown



2. Fill out the short application with your and your child's information and click SUBMIT



3. You will see the banners indicating an invitation email to create your account and complete the application has been sent 



4. Once you click the link in your email you will be directed to create a password to activate your UpBup account. 



5. You will be directed to your registration/application form, complete all required fields



6. Once all fields are complete the PREVIEW button will blink



7. Review the PDF and close out of it



8.Then SIGN/SUBMIT your application




9. Once your form is submitted you will be redirected to your forms dashboard, where you can review your submission or edit it and resubmit it.
