Child Finder makes it simple to find any child's information across your Network and also offers easy access to CLONE and add SIBLING. 

Using the CLONE feature is an effective and is recommended to use when the child who is already enrolled in one of the centers in Network, needs to be added to another center. Using the SIBLING feature ensures that parents have all of their children under the same UpBup accounts.


The Child Finder function is available for Admins on the CHILDREN Dashboard page via CHILD FINDER button




To initiate a search for a Child, click CHILD FINDER button. This will open a Child Finder page, where you can provide your search criteria.  


If the child is enrolled in more than one center or there are more than one child with this First Name or Last Name, Child Finder will display all results across the Network.  

The search can be refined by using the combination of criteria. 


The Parent's Phone number is not displayed within Child Finder for security reasons. The phone number is available to Admin on the CHILDREN Dashboard.



 


NOTE:
As the name search is case sensitive, enter the First Name and Last Name exactly as submitted by the parent during form submission.  
For example, if the parent entered first name as 'John', search for 'John' (first letter capitalized).  If the parent entered 'john', search for 'john' (all low case). This rule should be applied to the last name as well. 

If you are not sure how parent entered the name, you can use all lower case search, this way  the results will include all children within Network, who's data meets the criteria

 


You can also search for children based on the parent email address. This ensures you are finding the child within the right account. 





 Adding Child to new provider with CLONE or SIBLING


NOTE: Child Finder allows access to the CLONE or SIBLING function via CLONE or SIBLING button within Child Finder page. 


To take advantage of CLONE/SIBLING feature, first use Child Finder to locate the child.  The child finder will display the facility where child is currently enrolled as well as CLONE/SIBLING button in each row.



Click CLONE button. The Copy page will open and allow selecting the center to which you would like to enroll the child. 

Select the Child's Group and Status and click Apply button. 


Click SIBLING button to add a sibling to the child account. This will open the fields were you can add the sibling information. Please note you can add the sibling to a different center using the provider dropdown



The list of centers in Provider list in this dialog box represents centers TO which the child can be transferred of enrolled.

 

These action will be confirmed and logged at the Activity dashboard. 



The child will be added to the roster in the selected center.
