Administrators can incorporate Smart Place Holders in the text body of message templates which enable UpBup to fill in the personalized details for every uniquely addressed email sent home to parents.
Smart Place Holder Definitions:
- #children_first_name# - Child’s or children’s first name
- #children_name# - Child’s or children’s first and last name. If multiple children of same parent, then single email is sent with both children’s names to each parent
- #form_due_date# - Due date of form related to message
- #form_name# - Name of form related to message
- #from_first_name# - Provider Admin’s first name. User who is logged in and selects SEND MESSAGE
- #from_name# - Provider Admin’s first and last name. User who is logged in and selects SEND MESSAGE
- #invitation_link# - Link for parent to activate account. If Form Request message does not have this link then the standard message is sent instead. If the parent already has an account, this link will show up as a blank in the invite.
- #loggedin_link# - Link to UpBup Login page that uses provider’s logo
- #last_physical_exam_date# - Date of last physical exam as entered by provider on Children’s Dashboard or Checklist
- #not_submitted_required_enrollment_forms# - Help parents quickly identify what forms are missing. Can be utilized in Form Reminder messages when the Related form is your enrollment packet. Will list all requested forms that are not submitted along with their due date.
- #physical_exam_expiration_date# - 1 year after the recorded date of last physical exam
- #provider_name# - Name of current site Admin is logged in under
- #to_first_name# - Parent’s first name
- #to_name# - Parent’s first and last name
- #today_date# - current date when message is sent using the template
- #tomorrow_date# - day after current date when message was sent using the template
