Status often referred to as "Enrollment Status" is used throughout the UpBup Enrollment solution. Status values include:


  1. ACTIVE: Active child already attends the childcare facility. Only Active children appear on Reports and the Children's Record Checklist. 
  2. ENROLLING:  Have new children starting soon but don’t want them to appear on your classroom reports? The “Enrolling” status allows you to filter children who will be attending in the future. You can request forms and also make use of Automated Form Reminders with children who are set to “Enrolling”. Enrolling children will be counted as Active children in monthly billing.
  3. APPLIED: Child applied to the childcare center. 
  4. WAITING_LIST: Child is on the waiting list. 
  5. INACTIVE_BY_PROVIDER: Child is no longer attending.



Status may be set/changed by selecting from a dropdown menu:



Specifically it appears in dropdown menus for: 

  • Child Status - When Adding or Editing a New Child



  • Status Filter - When changing the viewing filter to look at children's records



  • Change State : New State - When changing the "State" of a child's enrollment status





NOTE: Forms can be requested when child status is Active, Enrolling or Waiting List


Upbup Recommendation: Use Enrolling status if a child is starting in the future
